Each gem is unique and therefore may have imperfections. Much like other costume jewelry, the gems are not invulnerable and may scratch. More transparent gems, such as "No Angel/ Babygirl/ Burnt Out" are less likely to show surface scratches. More opaque gems such as "Bad Habits" are more likely to show imperfections such as small surface scratches. However, with proper handling and care, the collars should keep their original integrity minus everyday wear and tear.
